  • Aaron T. Miller, Founder/Executive Director

Aaron T. Miller is a public administrator, researcher, military veteran, and civic leader whose work is grounded in the Christian moral tradition and a commitment to ordered liberty, institutional integrity, and responsible self-government. He serves as an elected County Commissioner in Maury County, Tennessee, one of the fastest-growing counties in the United States, where he brings firsthand experience navigating the practical constraints of local government, public administration, and community development.

Aaron is completing a Doctor of Public Administration (DPA) with a concentration in zoning law reform, sustainable development, and local governance. His academic work integrates empirical research with a Christian understanding of human dignity, stewardship, and the limits of political authority. His research emphasizes mixed land use, the unintended consequences of legacy zoning frameworks, and the role of civic formation in sustaining healthy communities.

He is a veteran of the United States Air Force and the Air National Guard. His military service has reinforced a professional ethic shaped by Christian principles of vocation and service: disciplined execution, respect for lawful authority, accountability within institutions, and care for those entrusted to one’s leadership.

In addition to his public service and academic work, Aaron has experience in training, communications, and data-informed civic engagement. He has developed instructional materials, worked with advanced outreach tools, and led structured programs focused on leadership formation and institutional competence. Across these efforts, he approaches public life as a form of stewardship—seeking not power for its own sake, but faithful administration oriented toward the common good.

Aaron lives in Tennessee with his family. He remains committed to strengthening civil society through serious research, principled civic engagement, and the renewal of public institutions in light of the Christian moral inheritance that shaped the American constitutional order.
