The Augustine Fellowship is a selective formation program designed to cultivate intellectually serious leaders grounded in the Christian moral and political tradition. Fellows engage in a structured study of political philosophy, legal development, and institutional stewardship alongside a suite of training seminars to build real-world skills. The program emphasizes disciplined learning, applicable skillsets, and robust networking, preparing participants for long-term service across civic and institutional settings.
ICS produces model policies and issue frameworks that translate historical insight and moral reasoning into practical governance tools. These policies are grounded in serious research, primary-source analysis, and institutional realism rather than partisan rhetoric. Our work is designed to assist policymakers, civic leaders, and institutions seeking principled, durable solutions to contemporary challenges for the betterment of the United States and its people.
ICS supports the establishment of independent, state-level policy organizations aligned around shared research standards and institutional values. Through guidance, training, and intellectual resources, we assist local leaders in building sustainable research centers capable of influencing public discourse within their states. This networked approach strengthens policy development by pairing local knowledge with a coherent national intellectual framework.
